2. 1989 944 Turbo S, $16,000.  Some notes from the owner :

This is the last year for the Turbo's in the US and as you would expect was the most refined and powerful. Many people call this the Turbo S because it has the same drive train as the 1988 944 Turbo S but in 1989 they did away with the standard Turbo model  and the "S" was dropped from the nomenclature. Actual mileage on the vehicle is less than 40,000 miles. Engine has less than an hour on it and includes "magic" provided by Casey's. Full standard interior is still in place except for sport/track seats. A/C, sunroof, radio are still in the car but I can't vouch for the operation of them since I didn't use them.  Full set of 17" lightweight track wheels on the car now with track tires.  Extra set of light weight Forge Line wheels but one of the fronts needs repair. Brey/Krause harness bar, Hot Lap timer. Bilstein shocks, track suspension and upgraded Charlie Arms. I have the original suspension parts as well as some other miscellaneous parts. Mass flow air system. K&R Air Filter and intake. I also added an additional oil cooler, 2 quart Accu-Sump and special oil pan with a George Milledge oiling system. Great care and expense was put into oiling to add to engine reliability. Oil, Temperature and Turbo gauges added. Brake calipers were completely rebuilt and have just a few hours on them. Limited Slip Differential. Front fenders rolled to accommodate track tires. Front end just painted due to track chips and hood replacement. No accidents but hood was replaced.  Spare tire, jack, air compressor, owner’s manual, etc. all provided.
This car from the factory comes with some great power and an even better braking system. As is the new engine probably puts out 50 HP over stock while still at factory boost. With the recent paintwork now the body is as good as the drive train. Although I used the vehicle as a track car the interior except for the seats) remains stock and this can be used as a street vehicle. The ride will be more firm than stock due to the suspension changes. These can be undone if desired since I have the original suspension parts. This will make an awesome vehicle for anyone desiring to get into track events.
